In 1990 Mrs. Canady established the English Elementary School. This school was established for the education of children of the (formerly Mission College) faculty and staff. The Far Eastern Division and Asia-Pacific International In 1999, the Muaklek church, under the leadership of Pastor Wendel Wilcox, established the Mission Kindergarten School for the children of workers of Asia-Pacific International University. On May 17, 2000, the Mission Kindergarten School was registered with the Saraburi Education Department. In May 2000 the two schools were combined and the process for the government license for the school was initiated. The newly merged school, Adventist International Mission School (AIMS), would serve the children of Asia-Pacific International University personnel and the children in the Muaklek community who wanted their children to participate in a Christian International education program. The government license was issued April 2002.
